The premises of The British School, Mohali reverberated with joy and splendor as the school hosted its Annual Art Exhibition “Creations 17” with a great deal of zeal, reverence and fervor. The students presented their fountains of talent through their work of Art & Craft. Various issues taken up by the students exhibited a kaleidoscopic presentation of themes reflecting the importance of the day. The tiny tots of Fy I, II and III showcased the creative andmysticalworld of wonders through ‘Wonderland’.
National symbols of India were beautifully presented by Stage 1. Where Stage 2 and 3 focused on ‘Revolutionary Seasons’ and ‘Monuments of India’, Stage 4 mesmerized the visitors by the colourful depiction of ‘Festivals of India’. Stage 5 students took everyone to the tour of ‘The Universe’ while ‘Musical Extravaganza’ by Stage 6 students presented a delightful world of Music. Stage 7 and Stage 8 took up social issues in their themes ‘Pioneers of Indian Renaissance’ and ‘The Beauty in Diversity’. ‘India made by Indians’ and ‘Secrets of 7’ by Stage 9 and 10 were appreciated by all. Senior students of Stage 11 and 12 put up food and games stalls to raise funds for the noble cause of helping patients suffering from Leprosy. Director Mrs. Reena Sethi applauded the efforts of students and teachers. She also remarked that school will keep on organizing such events to help students learn various skills.
