The British School, Panchkula under the patronage of Dr K.K. Khandelwal I.A.S, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Haryana, was founded by Shri T. R. Sethi and Mrs Urmila Sethi in January, 2005. Educators at their core, the School is no doubt reflective of their far-sighted vision for Indian education.
Shri T.R. Sethi said, “Our focus is learning. We want to enable students to become academically and personally successful people who are internationally minded and motivated to become lifelong learners and caring citizens prepared to take effective responsibility in an ever changing world”.
State of the art facilities and infrastructure support the vision of our founders in making education at TBS a wholesome and enjoyable experience. A simple, yet distinctive and firm underlying philosophy of the school, to provide an international education while being steeped in the rich Indian educational tradition and core values, has been received very positively.
TBS, Panchkula, located in an idyllic setting; a serene residential area with a park , beautiful air conditioned building with a view of Simla hills, fine weather and tree lined pollution-free atmosphere satisfies a crucial need in today’s world for students to be able to learn, observe, introspect and contemplate in a most desirable environment. Education in such ambience is a rewarding experience for our students.
