The British School, Panchkula is co-educational school with equal opportunities for all. Curriculum taught is CBSE sprinkled with magic dust of global trends. Admission is granted on the basis of the school admission policy. Application Forms for Admissions are accepted up to the end of April each year. Applicants will be put on waiting list if there are no vacancies.

Scholarships

The School offers scholarships to deserving students exceptional achievements in the field of academic and sports.

Parents keen to avail the same may email an application attaching the proof of child’s performance reports (academic/sports/co-curricular) and seek an appointment with the Principal. Admission will be granted only on the basis of merit. The decision of the Principal will be honoured.

Fee Deposit

The school academic session is from April to March. The dues are to be deposited with the fee counter located in the school premises. Quarterly dues for the months are to be paid before or by 10 th in the due month.

April-May-June at the time of admission for new students, April 1 to April 10 for continuing students.

  • July- August- September – July 1 to July 10
  • October- November- December – October 1 to October 10
  • January – February- March – January 1 to January 10

Admission Requirements

To register for admission the following need to be submitted:

  1. Duly filled registration forms
  2. Copy of Birth Certificate
  3. Physical fitness report duly signed by a certified medical practitioner.
  4. Photocopy of immunization record (applicable for children till age 5).
  5. Photocopy of mark sheets/ transcript of grades of last two term exams.
  6. School leaving certificate from current school.
  7. Payment of fee

Mode Of Payment

  • The Admission Fee/ AnnualFee/ Quarterly Fee/ Transport Fee is accepted only by cheque/ Demand draft/ Net Banking/ Paytm. Online payment through School Pad, credit and debit card payment are active. Keeping in tune with Digital India Vision, cash transactions are not accepted
  • All payments can be made up to the 10 th of the due month without attracting late fine charges.
  • Post dated cheques are not accepted and will incur late fine.

Important Information

ATTENDANCE

Parents should appreciate that excessive absence from school on the part of child has an adverse affect on the child’s progress. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to ensure promotion to next class. The school seeks the active support and cooperation of the parents in maintaining the high disciplinary standards that will ultimately benefit the child.

Transport facility


The school runs a limited bus service in the close vicinity of Panchkula and Chandigarh. The routing of the buses is dependent upon demand and is provided on a no-profit-no-loss basis. The school does not undertake to run buses to all the areas, and parents cannot expect the buses to be routed entirely for individual convenience though every endeavour is made to suit each family. Parents are requested to kindly wait at the Pick-Up /Drop Off points at least 5 minutes in advance. The details can be had from the school’s information office. A female attendant is present in the bus everytime and all the buses are equipped with GPS and cameras.

The school transport will be available for the students only if the transport fee has been paid. One way transport facility is also available. Transport fee details can be had from the front desk. Parents who wish to avail transport to collect the transport forms from the front office. The parents need to confirm bus stop, pick and drop timings from the transport supervisor.

Parents are required to read the transport rules carefully and fill up the transport form, if school transport is to be availed. Parents who wish to pick up their school transport child personally on any day are required to inform the school desk at least half an hour prior to the dispersal time

Parent Pick & Drop


The parents are requested to drop the child at the school 5 minutes before the school commences. Regular late comers are not entertained. The school gates are kept closed during the bus dispersal time and will be opened only after the buses have left. Kindly reach school on time to pick up your child. A wait outside the school gates will inconvenience you.

The parents who come to pick and drop their wards to follow the advisory that is issued on regular basis from the School Office. The parents to note and explain to the drivers who come to pick and drop the children that the traffic flows only one way in front of the school. It is also suggested that parents form car pools as a convenient way of reducing traffic volume, air and noise pollution.
